Welcome to the GVST Events Page. There are a handful of programs and classes held each month, and then there are various volunteer opportunities. We would encourage you to click on the events descriptions to get more information about the upcoming classes, programs or volunteer opportunities.
Gardening Essentials Class
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner, this in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their gardening skills. From choosing the right plants for your garden to proper soil preparation and maintenance, we’ll cover all the essentials you need to know to create a thriving garden.

Landscape Design School
The Landscape Design School happens 2-4 times per year. Each class is comprised of four sessions of speakers and ends with an optional one on one design consultation for personalized information (attendees should bring a sketch and/or pictures of their landscape / 20 min each session). Attendees will receive four books that will be utilized throughout the program.

Gardening 101
Ask Me About...Gardening 101 is a series of learning experience combining innovative ideas with in-depth how-to garden information paired with water conservation tips for all gardeners, whether you're new to the area, new at owning a home, or an established gardener looking for a refresher. Join us at various locations and ask us about Gardening and Water Conservation!
