Gardening Volunteers of South Texas is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, founded in 2002. We work closely with San Antonio Water System to promote conservation and watersaving gardening in San Antonio and the surrounding area.
GVST works with other community organizations on civic projects, participates in major gardening events, sponsors neighborhood workshops, and offers speakers to clubs, classes and groups.
We offer day and evening classes throughout the year. Classes are free and open to the public. A $5 donation is requested at each class to help defray expenses.
